I’ve been wanting to write posts for gigs for a long time and I finally decided to do so a few months back. The only problem with that is I also stopped booking the band over the summer so I could focus on writing and recording some music. So, I am going to do one or two on some gigs we did earlier this year. We are starting to gig again so I will have more posts up soon.

Here we go…

May 22, 2010

The 2010 Downtown Bayou Gumbo Cook-off & Street Festival was a festival held on Foster Street in downtown Dothan, Al. It was organized by the owner of a great cajun restaurant named Blue Moon Cafe and benefited the ALS Associaiton (Lou Gehrig’s Disease).

If you think it looks hot, you’re right. It hit 90 degrees that day and we went on at 11:00 am!
