The LJD (Eric Ward and Chris Hodges) was formed late 2008 with a mission. Not only so they could provide high quality jazz to small and large events but to spread the jazz heritage through performance and education. Though a duo at the core, the LJD often features great musicians in their shows. This group is a great compliment to any small gathering, dinner party, or wine tasting and, as with the Chris Hodges Band, you can expect the highest level of musicianship and professionalism. Our sets are comprised of straight-forward standard jazz tunes and covers all the major styles. The group is vibraphones and double bass. If you prefer a trio, we can add a horn or vocalist to give the music yet another dimension. See our set list |
