About

Knowing he wanted to be a musician by age 9 and it being quite obvious there weren’t many existing options in his small town, Chris got used to making his own opportunities – forming bands and, by his late teens, organizing music festivals, As soon as he could, he enrolled in college for music education (eventually leaving that for a music industry tract).

Throughout college, Chris performed with jazz ensembles and continued to freelance with bands in the region. Honing his skills in improvisation, learning on the fly and how to support multiple genres. During which time he formed, managed, and served as music director for several jazz ensembles which played concerts, private events, and festivals. Chris continues to create original music and freelance with bands in multiple genres with performance, playback support and music direction.

Around 2010, Chris began working with houses of worship. Helping music directors integrate Ableton, create resources for musicians, and lead rehearsals. Over the last 15 years, he has held staff positions at multiple churches and walked alongside several more in coaching, remote music direction, and consulting capacities. Providing arrangements, guidance, and resources for churches to create impactful musical experiences for their attendees.

Based in Atlanta, GA, Chris has established himself as a trusted musician, music director, mix engineer, and out-of-the-box thinker with a passion for the creative process and an unwavering belief in human ability.
